On September 27, the first hearing regarding For Park Soo Young [Lizzy] DUI was held at Seoul Central District Court.
Back in May, it was revealed that After School Lizzy had hit a taxi driver while driving in the south intersection of Youngdong-bridge in Gangnam-gu. No major injuries were reported. Lizzy’s blood-alcohol level was high enough to revoke her license.
On July 1, it was revealed that the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office had indicted Park Soo Young without detention on charges of driving under the influence.
The former After School Member had previously taken to Instagram to apologize for her DUI this past May.
During the first hearing, the prosecution requested the court to sentence Park Soo Young to one year in prison for driving with a blood-alcohol level of 0.197%. The idol had also admitted to her wrongdoings and promised to not do anything disgraceful like that again.
