2020 is starting out well, so many amazing actors, writers and directors are set to work on new dramas, it is going to be an amazing year filled with many of the best and biggest Korean actors projects since many of them who served the military were discharged last year and set to come back with new dramas this year.
February of 2020 has many amazing upcoming dramas and today, we’re going to take a look at all the kdramas set to air in February of 2020.
Park Seo Joon 2020 drama comeback is coming very soon!
“Itaewon Class” tells the story of young people who fight back against unreasonable society as they chase after their dreams. Park Seo Joon is taking on the role of Park Sae Roy, a passionate entrepreneur who cannot stand injustice and corruption. Armed with his anger over the death of his father, he burst onto the Itaewon scene going up against the food industry conglomerate Jang Ga.
“Itaewon Class” premieres on January 31 at 10:50 p.m. KST.
Two of the biggest actors are set to come back with “Hyena,” actress Kim Hye Soo is set to make her first comeback to the small screen in four year since her hit drama “Signal” with “Hyena,” she is joined by the talented actor Ju Ji Hoon.
“Hyena” tells the story of elite lawyers who work for the top 1% in society. Jung Geum-Ja (played by Kim Hye Soo) is a lawyer who would do anything for money. She will do whatever means to reach her goal. Yoon Hee-Jae (played by Ju Ji Hoon) is an elite lawyer, who is smart and confident at his job.
“Hyena” will air its first episode on February 21st taking over “Hot Stove League” time slot.
“Wise Doctor Life”
“Wise Doctor Life” is one of the most anticipated 2020 tvN dramas for many reasons, the star-studded cast drew attention to the drama as soon as news of the casting went public, it also marks director Shin Won Ho and writer Lee Woo Jung fourth collaboration, they previously worked on the hit “Reply” series.
It will be led by Jo Jung Suk, Kim Dae Myung, Jung Kyung Ho, Yoo Yeon Seok, and Jeon Mi Do.
“Wise Doctor Life” tells the story of doctors, nurses and patients at a hospital. 5 doctors who attended the same medical university in 1999 work together at the same hospital.
While the air date isn’t set in stones yet, it’s been reported that “Wise Doctor Life” will air in February of 2020.
“Hi Bye Mama!”
Kim Tae Hee is finally set to return with a drama for the first time since 2015. She is set to return with “Hi Bye Mama” and fans couldn’t be more excited about this.
“Hi Bye Mama!” tells the story of Cha Yoo-Ri (Kim Tae Hee) who has been a ghost since she died 5 years ago. She left behind her husband and their child, to become a human again, she carries out a project for 49 days.
Her husband Jo Kang Hwa (played by Lee Kyu Hyung) is a chest surgeon; he used to be a loving husband but changed after his wife died. His wife suddenly appears in front of him 5 years later.
“Hi Bye Mama!” is set to air on the 22nd of February.
“Tell Me What You Saw”
Is there anything better than the combination of OCN and Jang Hyuk?
Jang Hyuk is set to return with another OCN drama in February.
“Tell Me What You Saw” tells the story of a top criminal profiler Oh Hyun-Jae (Jang Hyuk) who solved many cases with his skills. An explosion caused by a serial killer takes his fiancé’s life. He vanishes after the incident and lives alone. Cha Soo Young (Sooyoung) is a police officer in a rural area who has the ability to remember everything she sees; she becomes a rookie detective and partners with Oh Hyun-Jae to solve cases.
“Tell Me What You Saw” will air its first episode on February 1st.
“I’ll Go to You When the Weather is Nice”
“I’ll Go to You When the Weather is Nice” is probably one of the most anticipated kdramas of 2020. Ever since the news about the pairing was announced, fans became super excited about it. Park Min Young and Seo Kang Joon have teamed up for the upcoming JTBC drama.
The drama tells the story of a woman Mok Hae Won (played by Park Min Young), who moves back to her small village after getting sick of Seoul city life. She reunites with Im Eun Seob (played by Seo Kang Joon), a man who owns an independent bookstore there.
“I’ll Go to You When the Weather Is Nice” is expected to air its first episode on February 24, following the conclusion of “War of Prosecutors.”
