Earlier today (On November 8 KST), YG Entertainment released an official statement confirming CL has left the agency.

They stated,

“We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the fans who loved CL who has shined being a member of YG.

CL debuted in 2NE1 in 2009 and has been promoting as a leader and a rapper, leading trends in various fields such as music and fashion. In addition, she made a big mark on the history of Kpop becoming the first Korean solo female artist to land on Billboard ‘Hot 100’ chart on October 12, 2016.”

Following the news, fans have been browsing her official YouTube channel which has close to 1 million subscribers (last checked around 800K) and discovered it has been deleted.

If you try to search some of her solo music videos such as the song ‘lifted’ you will not be able to find it, you will be greeted with a message that says the video is private.

Her official solo Facebook channel has also been deleted. She has also been removed from YG family site, although that is expected since she’s not part of the label anymore. Dara is the only former 2NE1 member who still has her picture on the site.

On the other hand, other artists who left YG such as PSY and Epik High didn’t have their official social media accounts deleted, they were handed to them and they continue to upload content there.
