Gu Hye Sun is a woman of many talents. Besides being an actress, artist, and a director she’s also diving into writing. She recently published a novel called “Heart-shaped Tears” where she spoke in details about her personal love life.
In an interview with a news outlet, she confessed that her first love cheated on her with another woman, that affected her deeply and she became skeptical of every relationship she’s been in since then.
She said,
“When my first love cheated on me with another woman I wanted to meet her. When I met her, it felt like she was a good person so I told him to keep dating her since she seemed flawless.
I was hurt after being betrayed by my first love. After that, I became skeptic when it comes to romantic relationships. I didn’t want to date unless I and he were thinking of marriage.”
Luckily for her, she already met her soul mate, Ahn Jae Hyun. She talked about how he devoted himself to her and how he helped remove her skepticism. She says that she couldn’t imagine breaking up with him, she thought,
“I would die if we ever broke up. Breaking up became a scary thought.”
She also talked about how innocent and kind her husband is and how he says he finds her scary sometimes when they fight. Their voices would get louder but when she tries to talk it out calmly, he’d say ‘you’re scary.’
She also says that he has a very cute side to him and is bad at lying which makes it easy to tell when he tries to lie.
Gu Hye Sun and Ahn Jae Hyun met through the drama “Blood” and officially registered their marriage back in May of 2016. They’re considered one of the best couples to come out of kdramas.
Fans are happy to hear that Ahn Jae Hyun helped heal her wound caused by her failed relationship because of a cheating boyfriend.
