Turns out there are some unwilling unexpected victims to Song Song couple divorce.
Song Joong Ki And Song Hye Kyo met on the set of “Descendants of the Sun” which is considered one of the most popular successful kdramas of all time, it helped launch both actors careers to hallyu fame.
Due to the immense popularity, Taebaek city spent around 270 million won (approx. $230,000) on a theme park dedicated to the couple. The theme park attracted lots of tourists from all over the world. There is even a status of the couple sharing a kiss.
It’s been reported that many tourists have stopped visiting the park after the divorce announcement which meant the profit took a hit. A day tour at the theme part would cost around $165.
It was previously announced that the annual couple festival which is held in July will also be called off this year, however, the event organizers said they have not decided if the festival will be called off for good.

International fans are still willing to visit the park. This is the only park that will remain the ssc love story. I will still interested to visit the park. It will more become famous bec international fans will reminiscing the memories of DOTS and ssc as if it is now a museum of history.
