The most recent and significant record they broke is the title to the most followed group on Instagram.





As of April 15, BLACKPINK official Instagram account has more than 17.1 million followers making it the most followed group account on Instagram. They surpassed One Direction who has 17 million followers on Instagram as of April 15 as well.

In related news, BLACKPINK is set to perform this upcoming weekend on Coachella as well.
