Lee Jong Suk Avoids Reporters Cameras Covering His Face As He Quietly Enlists In The Military

Lee Jong Suk plans for quietly enlisting in the military didn’t go as well as planned.

The beloved hallyu star enlisted as a public service worker on March 8.

He had previously revealed through his agency his plans to quietly enlist in the military. As a result, the agency didn’t reveal the location of his enlistment to avoid causing disturbance and to respect the actor’s wishes for a quiet enlistment.

However, the moment he set foot to the district office he was swarmed by cameras and fans who found out the enlistment location and showed up to say farewell to the actor.

Lee Jong Suk showed up with three of his managers, he fully covered his face and his head with a hoodie; he didn’t speak a work with the reporters at the venue.

Lee Jong Suk suffered from a ruptured ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) from a car accident he had been in when he was 16 which explains why he’s enlisting as a public service worker instead of an active duty soldier.

Lee Jong Suk will be discharged on January 2^nd, 2021.
