Kyung Hee University Repeal CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa Admission Following Huge Backlash And Controversy


On January 18, a report by MBN News confirmed that the idol’s admission to graduate program in Kyung Hee University was cancelled.

According to MBN News the idol’s admission as cancelled due to the huge backlash and controversy surrounding the preferred admission process for the idol.

The professor involved in this case (named Lee) is also currently under police investigation for assisting with the admission of CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa and forging documents. After a meeting featuring the dean of the graduate school and 10 more people was held on January 14th, it was revealed in an interview on the same day that professor Lee was charged for the forging.

Earlier it was revealed that CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa was the popular idol being investigated for alleged preferred treatment for admission to graduate program at Kyung Hee University.

The idol later released an apology letter and his agency FNC Entertainment released a statement explaining their side of the story.

My Thoughts

This is being blown wayyy out of proportion.

I get it and I heard both sides. It seems like FNC Entertainment should’ve been more careful and looked into the matter a bit more. Its sad that Jung Yong Hwa was screwed over like that.

To be honest, it ain’t worth the buzz! I don’t get it, its just a university. No one killed someone, no one hurt someone, no one did illegal drugs, why is everyone making such a big deal of this?[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
