The pre-debut members of NCT’s new team (tentatively named NCT NEW TEAM) have been announced.
On the 7th, ENA Channel’s Tving program ‘NCT Universe: LASTART’ revealed the pre-debut members of NCT’s new team, attracting attention.
‘NCT Universe: LASTART’ is a program that selects members to join two other SM rookies for the upcoming NCT group. Through four missions, the program evaluates the participants based on the opinions of artist directors BoA, Eunhyuk, Jang Jin-young, special artist directors for each mission, and the evaluation from SM NEW IP TF team, ultimately selecting five members.
The chosen members for NCT’s new team are:
- Sion
- Yushi
- Riku
- Sakuya
- Daeyoung
- Jungmin
- Ryo
The chosen trainees expressed their gratitude to the members who participated in the program and to everyone who supported them, saying, “NCT is a globally influential name, and we will strive to become individuals who are worthy of that name.”
NCT’s new team will perform a pre-debut stage before the main concert ‘NCT STADIUM LIVE ‘NCT NATION: To The World-in JAPAN” at Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka, Japan on the 9th-10th of next month and at Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo, Japan on the 16th-17th. It is expected to attract a lot of attention as it will be their first stage in front of NCT fans.
