Taeil To Skip NCT 127’s Nagoya Concert In Japan After Testing Positive For COVID-19

Taeil will not be attending NCT 127’s upcoming concert in Japan after getting diagnosed with COVID-19.

On May 18, SM Entertainment released an official statement to announce that Taeil has tested positive for the virus. He’s currently asymptomatic and has no fever. Taeil originally left for Japan on the 15 after receiving a negative PCR test. After arriving in Japan, he quarantined for three days in accordance with the health guidelines, on the 18, when another PCR test was conducted, he tested positive. The rest of the NCT 127 members tested negative and will proceed with the concert on May 22.

SM says Taeil has already received three doses of the vaccine and is currently quarantining. The performance in Nagoya on May 22 at Banterrin Dome will be held with eight members.
