Girl group SISTAR’s unit SISTAR19 (Hyolyn and Bora) will make a comeback in January next year.
On the 17th of November, SISTAR19 announced the news, stating, “This comeback of SISTAR19 is significant as it has been 11 years since their last release. They have fully prepared themselves as the new trend hot version of 2024 and will return with enhanced charms.”
SISTAR19 is a unit that was first introduced by the leading K-pop girl group SISTAR. They gained much love with their debut single “Ma Boy” in 2011 and their single “Gone Not Around Any Longer” released in 2013. The explosive vocals of member Hyolyn and the husky rapping of member Bora were praised for creating a harmonious unit.
It is rumored that Hyolyn and Bora are reorganizing all aspects, from vocals to choreography, for the new formation of SISTAR19. Hyolyn, who is also actively promoting as a solo artist and will hold a solo concert called “2023 Hyolyn Show One Night Only” on December 9th, is expected to take the center stage of the unit. Bora, who showcased overwhelming performance skills on stage during her prime, is determined to showcase even more skills than before.
