CL Leaves YG Entertainment After 10 Years
YG Entertainment has confirmed that CL has left!
Yesterday, it was reported that CL was set to leave YG Entertainment after failing to agree on certain contract terms. YG released a statement denying she had left stating that they were still discussing with her.

On November 8, YG Entertainment released the following statement:
“Hello. This is YG Entertainment.
We and CL have agreed to end our exclusive contract in respect of each other’s opinions.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the fans who loved CL who has shined being a member of YG.
CL debuted in 2NE1 in 2009 and has been promoting as a leader and a rapper, leading trends in various fields such as music and fashion. In addition, she made a big mark on the history of Kpop becoming the first Korean solo female artist to land on Billboard ‘Hot 100’ chart on October 12, 2016.
We ask you for your interest and encouragement for the new activities of CL, and YG will also cheer her on with unchanging trust and affection.
