Television streaming platform Tving has confirmed the casting of actor Park Sung Woong in “Good or Bad Dong-jae,” a spin-off of the drama “Stranger.”

“Good or Bad Dong-jae,” an original series by Tving, tells the story of Prosecutor Seo Dong-jae (played by Lee Joon Hyuk) who wants to break free from his past as a spawn prosecutor and gain recognition in the present, and Nam Wan-seong, the CEO of Lee Hong Construction, who appears before him to expose his past mistakes and engages in a relentless battle.

As a spin-off series centered around Prosecutor Seo Dong-jae, who garnered a strong fan base in the drama “Stranger,” Lee Joon-hyuk’s casting in the lead role had already garnered attention.

Park Sung Woong has been cast in the role of Nam Wan-seong, the CEO of Lee Hong Construction, who tries to restrain Prosecutor Seo Dong-jae. Nam Wan-seong is a character who firmly believes that he was able to achieve systematic business expansion by holding business cards and bundles of cash, unlike his father who worked in business while covered in dirt and dust. He sees Prosecutor Seo Dong-jae, who becomes an obstacle to redevelopment projects, as a thorn in his side and is willing to do anything for the sake of his business.

Lee Soo Yeon, the writer of “Stranger” seasons 1 and 2, will participate as a creator for “Good or Bad Dong-jae.”

“Good or Bad Dong-jae” is set to be released in 2024.
