Korean Actor Diagnosed With Liver Cancer, Forced To Step Out Of Drama Due To Declining Health

Korean actor Kim Jung Tae has been diagnosed with liver cancer, its in the early stage.

The actor had recently joined the cast of the upcoming SBS drama “Empress’s Dignity” which also stars Jang Nara, Choi Jin Hyuk and Shin Sung Rok. Due to his health issues, he had to withdraw from the drama because it would be difficult for him to film in his state.

His agency released a response to DongA.com,

“Its true that Kim Jung Tae has been diagnosed with liver cancer. While filming, he had experienced swelling in his face and didn’t feel well. He visited the hospital and found out he had cancer. He has been admitted to the hospital to receive treatment.”

The actor is only 45 years old.
