Ju Ji Hoon, Yoon Kyung Ho, Choo Young Woo, Ha Young And More Confirmed For Upcoming Netflix Medical Drama
Netflix has confirmed the production of a new original drama series titled “Severe Trauma Center: Golden Hour” and has finalized the casting of key roles.
“Severe Trauma Center: Golden Hour” revolves around Baek Kang-hyuk, a genius trauma surgeon who takes up a position at a financially struggling university hospital’s critical care center. The drama is based on the web novel ‘Critical Care Center: Golden Hour’ written by author Han Sanee. The drama will be led by Ju Ji Hoon, Yoon Kyung Ho, Choo Young Woo, Ha Young and more.
Actor Ju Ji Hoon has been cast in the lead role as the brilliant doctor Baek Kang-hyuk. Choo Young Woo has been cast as Yang Jae-won, the first disciple of Baek Kang-hyuk.
Yoon Kyung Ho will portray Han Yoo-rim, a proctology professor who feels threatened by Yang Jae-won’s apprenticeship under Baek Kang-hyuk. Ha Young will play the responsible nurse Cheon Jang-mi at the critical care center.
Director Lee Do Yoon will be at the helm of the series. The screenplay will be written by Choi Tae Kang, known for the drama “Adamas.”
The release date for the drama has not been determined yet.
