Gong Myung Discharged From The Military
Actor Gong Myung is returning to the acting scene after completing his military service.
His agency, Saram Entertainment, announced on the 13th if June that Gong Myung will be discharged from the military today.
Gong Myung enlisted as an active-duty soldier in the Army on December 14, 2021, and fulfilled his military duty for one year and six months.
Before enlisting, he filmed movies such as “Hansan: The Rising Dragon,” “Killing Romance,” and “Twenty.” He also made appearances during his hiatus. In particular, the recent release of “Killing Romance” showcased his talent and helped fill the gap during his absence.
Following Seo Kang Joon’s discharge, Gong Myung’s return marks the start of the second phase of the acting careers for former members of the actor group SURPRISE.
Gong Myung made his debut as part of SURPRISE in 2013 along with Seo Kang Joon, Yul, Kang Tae Oh, and Lee Tae Hwan.
After his discharge, Gong Myung plans to take a break and then actively engage in discussions about his next project.
