Can we possibly ask for a better cast ensemble?
It’s been confirmed that Suzy, Nam Joo Hyuk, Kim Seon Ho, And Kang Han Na are all set to join tvN’s highly anticipated drama “Startup.” The drama will be written by Park Hye Ryun (“I Hear Your Voice“) and directed by Oh Choong Hwan (“Hotel Del Luna”).
“Startup” will be set in the fictional Korean Silicon Valley, “Sandbox.”
Suzy is taking on the role of Seo Dal Mi, who dreams of becoming Korea’s Steve Jobs. An ambitious woman who doesn’t have much but has a grand plan for the future, she also has experience in a wide-range of part-time jobs.
Nam Joo Hyuk is taking on the role of Nam Do San, the founder of Samsan Tech. He was once the pride of his family as a math genius but is going nowhere with his company’s investments for the past two years. He’s Seo Dal Mi first love, and he decides to begin a startup with her in hopes of turning her dream into a reality.
Kim Seon Ho will play the role of Han Ji Pyung, who begins a startup company to pay off his debt. He has great investment skills and a sharp tongue; he’s mean to most others but especially soft to those who granted him a favor in the past.
Kang Han Na will take on the role of CEO Won In Jae who has money and beauty, despite that, she considers her status as a chaebol to be a weakness and does everything in her power to do things on her own and get acknowledged for her skills. Her father ends up using her, in order to stop being a disposable piece in her father’s games; she throws herself into a startup.
“Startup” will air in October.
