Super Junior’s Leeteuk Tried To Cheer Up MOMOLAND’s Yeonwoo, Ends Up Making The Cutest Mistake

Super Junior’s Leeteuk is known for being super friendly and nice; he also tries to encourage younger artists.

However, while trying to do so he ended up making an innocent mistake and he posted an apology on Instagram.

He had sent a MOMOLAND’s Yeonwoo Instagram account a direct message saying ‘hey, Yeonwoo.’ He had mistaken the fan page of MOMOLAND’s Yeonwoo to be her actual account.

A media outlet reported that along with the screenshot and people began to wonder why Leeteuk would send a message to a fan page of MOMOLAND’s Yeonwoo.

So he screenshot the message and posted it to Instagram, he apologized for his mistake and cleared up the misunderstanding, he said,

“I just wanted to say that you worked hard for a junior who was working very hard on broadcasts or in this time for the 2018 Asia Song Festival.. ㅜ ㅜ I am so sorry, it’s my fault. I apologize to the fans who might be surprised by my sudden DM.”

Super Junior’s Leeteuk was one of the MCs of the 2018 Asia Song Festival along with MOMOLAND’s Yeonwoo and Nancy.

My Reaction

You know what I liked about this? How honest and forward he was. He is a pro and the way he acted shows that he’s been around for long enough to know how to handle this. Putting the screenshot of the message on your Instagram was a nice move.

Some might think he was flirting, others might think he was already dating her. If the rumors started, it could hurt her and her career. Even if he was flirting or just simply trying to cheer her up, I still don’t find it a big deal and I honestly don’t care!

In fact, its so nice of him to do so, to cheer her up! Will always be a fan of this amazing human being~ Love you Leeteuk!

  1. AhahahahahaHAHAHAHAHA XD Aw, k-netz being k-netz as usual. Good move on him to just post the whole screenshot – it shows just how intentionally the other accounts tried to TWIST this into something it was not, LMAO! Fail! He was just encouraging her, it’s quite obvious – isn’t he like this with everyone? Sumbaes know how crushing this industry can be and how much an encouragement from a sunbae can mean. Btw if I were that fan account, I would just message him back saying this is a fan account and use the chance to tell him he’s really funny and a kpop legend, lol. I wouldn’t use it as a chance to gain more traction on my fan account. It’s just simple human decency. (Not saying that’s what they did but I meeeeean it looks like it…) So HE should apologize for such a minor _nothing_ and the fan account doesn’t have to apologize at all? LOL!
