WINNER Members Military Enlistment And Discharge Dates: The Full Timeline

WINNER is a four-member group, and as all Kpop idols must do, they also must serve their country and enlist in the military.

Enlistment is something every kpop fan dreads, when the time comes, Kpop fans must say goodbye to their favorite idols for a period of no less than 1 year and 6 months [as of this writing].

Today, we’re taking a look at WINNER members’ military enlistment dates and discharge dates as well.

WINNER members who are in the military: Song Mino, Kang Seung Yoon

WINNER members who finished serving in the military: Kim Jinwoo, Lee Seunghoon

Kim Jinwoo [discharged]

Kim Jinwoo is the older member of his group [born in 1991], he was the first to enlist in the military. Kim Jinwoo enlisted as a public service worker.

Kim Jinwoo enlistment date: April 2, 2020

Kim Jinwoo discharge date: December 31, 2021

Lee Seunghoon [discharged]

Lee Seunghoon was the second member of his group to enlist in the military, he’s also serving as a public service worker.

Lee Seunghoon enlistment date: April 16, 2020

Lee Seunghoon discharge date: January 15, 2022

Song Mino [enlisted]

Since he was born in 1993. On March 2nd, of 2023, YG confirmed he’s set to enlist in alternative service as a social worker due to health reasons.

Song Mino enlistment date: March 24, 2023

Song Mino discharge date: December 24, 2024

Kang Seung Yoon [enlisted]

Despite being the leader of his group, Kang Seung Yoon is the youngest member born in 1994, he has the most time left until he must serve his country. His enlistment date has been revealed on May 24 of 2023.

Kang Seung Yoon enlistment date: June 20, 2023

Kang Seung Yoon’s discharge date: December 20, 2024
