Kdrama Fans have long dreamed of seeing IU and Park Seo Joon on screen together as a couple and their wishes have finally been answered.
On January 3, it was confirmed that IU was set to appear in her first-ever commercial film, the beloved singer-actress has always focused on dramas, until now. What made the news even more special was the fact that she is joining Park Seo Joon, who was confirmed for the film back in October of 2019.
The film is titled “Dream” and will be directed by director Lee Byung Hun, who led the hit film “Extreme Job” and recent JTBC drama “Melo Is My Nature.”
“Dream” tells the story of a team who is trying out for the homeless World Cup, an annual international soccer event. Not much is known about IU’s character yet, but fans are super excited to see IU and Park Seo Joon on the same screen together.
Filming for “Dream” is set to begin in 2020.
