Weki Meki’s Kim Doyeon has landed a new drama role!

On February 23, one Korean news outlet reported that Kim Doyeon has joined tvN’s upcoming drama “Mount Jiri” and recently finished filming. Her agency later confirmed the news. Kim Doyeon plays Jun Ji Hyun’s younger counterpart in the highly anticipated upcoming drama.

The drama is led by Jun Ji Hyun and Joo Ji Hoon. Despite having no premiere date yet, the drama has gained massive attention for its star-studded cast and for being written by Kim Eun Hee, who wrote Netflix’s “Kingdom” series, and Lee Eung Bok, who directed “Mr. Sunshine.”

Kim Doyeon debuted as an actress through the 2018 web drama “Short,” and has appeared in some productions since.
