In the wake of our leading lady’s injury, a smitten crown prince stays by her side, nursing her and ensuring she receives everything she needs to fully recover. Also, it seems like the recent serial murder case has more to do with the mysteries surrounding our leads than we were led to believe.

With the help of her best friend, a wacky autopsy master, and an oh-so-perfect scholar/crown prince, our heroine goes on an intriguing journey to investigate the serial murder case and catch the real culprit. Though that case helps bring our leads together, it renders another relationship turning sour.

Our crown prince’s attraction to our heroine increases by the day. And it isn’t unreciprocated, though, as our leading lady is also drawn to him. Now he isn’t the ice-hearted, arrogant crown prince, but a sweet person making her stay in the palace more delightful.

Like our crown prince tells her, our leading lady finds her way into the eastern palace, a.k.a “the place where the sun rises first.” Before he can confide in her, though, our heroine must pass a small test and prove her skills to our crown prince firsthand.

Our heroine spares no effort to prove her worth to our crown prince, hoping he might help her prove her innocence and find the criminal who murdered her whole family. But it looks like her skills alone aren’t convincing enough for our hero to join hands with her.

Unlike the old-time fairy tale where the princess gets cursed, and only the charming hero can lift that curse through his true love, this time the cursed one is our crown prince hero, but no one can tell if getting entangled with the run-away heroine will lift the curse or put them in further trouble.
