“School 2021” is coming soon!
After many months of casting news and uncertainty, KBS has confirmed that WEi’s Kim Yo Han, Kim Young Dae, Cho Yi Hyun and Hwang Bo Reum Byeol are set to lead the upcoming drama.
This will be the 8th installment in the series and will follow young adults who choose different paths instead of the traditional college entrance exam.
Kim Yo Han will play Gong Ki Joon, who has lost his dream of pursuing taekwondo due to an injury. He feels lost and uncertain of what he should do.
Kim Young Dae will be playing Jung Young Joo, a transfer student with a hidden story. He also shares a secret past with Gong Ki Joon.
Cho Yi Hyun will be playing the ambitious Jin Ji Won who has an unwavering dream. While Hwang Bo Reum Byeol will take on the role of Kang Seo Young, a young firl who is preparing for the college entrance exam to enter one of the top five colleges.
“School 2021” is slated to air in the second half of this year.
The school series have spawned many famous actors who got their big break through the drama including Jang Hyuk, Ha Ji Won, Lim Soo Jung, Gong Yoo, Jo In Sung, Kim Woo Bin, Lee Jong Suk, Nam Joo Hyuk, and many more.
