During his alternative military service, WINNER member Song Mino, who is currently fulfilling his mandatory military duty, gained attention for attending his younger sister Song Dan-ah’s wedding with a long hairstyle.
According to various news outlets on May 29, Song Mino, who received a level 4 public service worker classification, has been serving as a social service worker in a welfare facility since March. Contrary to what was known, he has not yet attended basic military training. The specific reasons have not been disclosed, this caught netizens attention.
This happened after photos of Song Mino attending his sister’s wedding in San Francisco, USA, drawing attention. The idol appeared to have not cut his hair unlike whats mandatory during military service for most men when they enlist.
A representative from his agency, YG Entertainment, stated to news outlets the following, ” Song Mino attended his sister Song Dan-ah’s wedding after going through the official procedures for departure.” YG also added, “Song Mino has been classified as an exemptee from basic military training, excluding him from undergoing the military examination.”
Meanwhile, Song Mino is the third member of WINNER to enter military service following Kim Jin Woo and Lee Seung Hoon. After attending Song Dan-ah’s wedding, Song Mino is scheduled to return and continue his military duty.
