A YG Entertainment source hyped fans by revealing that it’s possible that BLACKPINK will promote in America.
According to news outlet OSEN, a high-ranking source from the agency itself told the news outlet that they’re currently discussing the possibility of the girls promoting overseas, they’re in discussion with various American record labels.
He said,
“We are actively in contact with the best record companies in the United States in relation to Black Pink, and I think we will be able to deliver good news in the near future.”
However, the source added,
“BLACKPINK has returned after a year of hiatus, so their promotions in Korea come first. Since the preparation period was long, they had time to finish recording the next new song. Please look forward to it.”
Previously, Yang Hyun Suk revealed that BLACKPINK received offers from American music producers.
Their first mini-album has received great love from the general public domestically and overseas, besides the great number of views they received for their hit track “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” the girls entered the HOT 100 Billboard chart at #55.
