The group BLACKPINK’s agency has addressed allegations related to their Vietnam concert.
A representative from their agency, YG Entertainment, stated on the 5th of July the following, “The setlist for the Hanoi concert that is circulating online is not true. The concert will follow the same format as the previous tour.”
On the 4th, a media outlet reported that the setlist for BLACKPINK’s world tour, “The Show,” in Vietnam had been leaked, stating that it was different from the previous Thailand concert setlist, which caused controversy locally. According to the report, the setlist was considered inadequate as it did not include the members’ solo songs. It also mentioned that the ticket prices for the Thailand concert were abnormally high, leading to dissatisfaction among fans.
However, YG Entertainment clarified and refuted these allegations, asserting that the setlist was not leaked and that the information about high ticket prices was incorrect.
BLACKPINK is scheduled to meet Vietnamese fans with two concerts on the 29th and 30th of this month. The Vietnam concert will take place at the largest venue in the country, the My Dinh National Stadium, which can accommodate over 40,000 people.
BLACKPINK will be performing a total of 26 shows in 13 different regions across Asia. Afterward, they are planning to continue their tour, including a concert in Paris, France.
