TREASURE will be promoting as a 10-member group after their agency, YG Entertainment, announces the departure of Bang Ye Dam’s and Mashiho and the termination of their contract.
The fate of Bang Ye Dam’s and Mashiho in the group has been an ongoing topic of discussion recently with YG first shocking fans with a statement announcing Bang Ye Dam’s and Mashiho’s temporary hiatus. Back then, YG said Bang Yedam will be taking a hiatus to focus on his potential as a producer, he will be focusing on studying music for the time being. Mashiho, who is currently resting in Japan, will also be going on a hiatus due to health reasons. He will spend more time with his family.
Later in July, YG returned with a new statement to also say Bang Ye Dam and Mashiho will not participate in the group’s summer comeback or tour citing similar reasons. Fans are still not aware of what exactly transpired that led to this but many hoped the members would return soon.
Fast forward to today, On November 8, YG has released an official statement to announce both members departure from the group.

Following the news, fans are expressing their shock and frustration with the agency as many fail to understand why two immensely talented members who trained for many years would depart the group like that.
