WOODZ (Cho Seung Youn) To Leave Yuehua Entertainment, Reportedly Joining IU’s Agency

WOODZ (Cho Seung Youn) is leaving his agency Yuehua Entertainment.

On October 5, Yuehua Entertainment released an official statement to confirm the idol will be departing their agency after his contract expires by the end of October. They expressed their gratitude for WOODZ who has been with them thus far and wished him the best for his future path.

Following the announcement, one news outlets reported that WOODZ was in talks to join IU’s agency EDAM Entertainment, which currently houses IU and Shin Se Kyung. It was reported he would be joining the agency starting October 19.

Following the reports, a source from EDAM Entertainment stated that nothing has been confirmed yet.

WOODZ debuted as a part of UNIQ in 2014. He gained fame by appearing on Mnet’s survival program “Produce X 101” in 2019 where he debuted as part of X1 before their disbandment. He has since been releasing music as a solo artist.
