WINNER’s Kang Seung Yoon could be returning to TV soon!
On May 4, Korean news outlets reported that Kang Seung Yoon is appearing in the upcoming MBC drama “Kairos.” In response to those reports, a source from MBC stated that it’s not true, the idol-actor is only ‘positively looking over the offer.’
The drama has been under the spotlight for being offered to Shin Sung Rok, Ahn Bo Hyun, and Lee Se Young; they’re also currently considering offers for the drama.
“Kairos” will be a fantasy thriller that tells the story of a man who falls into shock after his daughter gets kidnapped and a woman who lives one month in the past, they both try to save the people they love.
If Kang Seung Yoon accepts the offer, it will be his first comeback to TV in more than two years since tvN’s “Prison Playbook,” which premiered in November 2017.
Broadcast is planned for some time in September.
