Warner Music Korea has released an official statement regarding girl group Fifty Fifty and their agency’s recent claims that they have attempted to lure the members out of their contracts.
Previously, on June 26, Attrakt, the group’s agency, issued an official statement naming them as the external forces attempting to poach the members, they also asked for an explanation from their side.
Later, on the same day, Warner Music Korea denied the accusations in a statement, they wrote,
Hello, this is Warner Music Korea.
Today (26th), we would like to provide an official statement regarding the claims made by Attrakt (Fifty Fifty’s agency), a rookie girl group.
Firstly, Warner Music Korea has been the overseas distributor for Fifty Fifty since April 1, 2023. Since the contract, we have been leveraging the capabilities and network of Warner Music Group to support Fifty Fifty and their agency in achieving remarkable success. However, we are deeply saddened by the unfortunate allegations that have been raised.
Warner Music Korea has always respected the opinions of artists and their agencies and has made every effort as a global distributor. These efforts have been proven by various accomplishments.
The claims made by Attrakt are baseless, and we express regret regarding the submission of the statement of proof. We kindly ask everyone to refrain from spreading unverified rumors and engaging in groundless speculative reporting.
Thank you.
What do you think of this?
