VICTON‘s Seungsik will leave to fulfill his military duty soon.
On February 1, his agency IST Entertainment said, “Seungsik will apply for the Army Military Band and enter the hospital on March 20 after receiving a final acceptance notice from the Military Manpower Administration. In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to prevent on-site crowding, the place and time of enlistment will be kept confidential and no separate events will be held on the same day.”
Earlier on January 31, Seungsik directly informed fans of his military enlistment through Weverse Live, a global fan community platform. He said,
“I will join the military on March 20. I promise to show you more great things when I come back. I’ll be back in good health. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’m preparing for a solo fan meeting before joining the army in March.”
Seungsik worked as a member of VICTON and broke the record of personal best initial sales through the “Time Trilogy” album series last year, and recently performed well in the musicals “On Air” and “Equal.” He has also been active in various fields, singing the opening theme song “WHAT IF” of the popular love reality entertainment show “Transit Love 2” and receiving great love.
