Singer Hyun Mi (real name Kim Myeong-seon) passed away on the morning of the 4th at the age of 85.
According to the police, Hyun Mi was found collapsed at her home in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, by the fan club president, Mr. Kim (73), who reported it to the police at 9:37 am.
Hyun Mi was taken to a nearby hospital but was declared dead.
Meanwhile, singer Hyun Mi made her debut with the song “Night Fog” in 1962 and hit songs like “Lover” and “My Love”. In 2007, she also held a commemorative concert for her 50th debut anniversary, the first among Korean singers.
