UP10TION’s Bitto has tested positive for COVID-19!

According to an exclusive report by Newsen, UP10TION’s Bitto tested positive for the virus recently. He took a test and the results came out positive. As a result, it’s been reported that various broadcasts will be affected as a result.

The issue comes from the fact that UP10TION are currently promoting on music shows, they appeared on MBC Music Core on November 28 and SBS Inkigayo on November 29.

This means that the staff and every idol who might’ve come in contact with on the shows he’s been on must be tested.

SBS confirmed the news shortly after the initial report went out. They confirmed that they had received news of his positive test and will be tracing all of his movements, locations and anyone he’s been in contact with through the CCTV footage.

Later, UP10TION’s agency TOP Media followed with a statement confirming that Bitto has indeed tested positive for COVID-19.

“Hello

This is TOP Media.

Our artist UP10TION Bitto has been tested positive for Corona 19.

Bitto was notified that he came in close contact wit a confirmed patient after his schedule ended on the 29th, and was confirmed on the 30th (this morning).

The artists, staff, and everyone who had overlapping movements or contacts with Bitto are conducting tests.

Our agency will take preventive measures in accordance with the health authorities’ policy.

UP10TION will cancel all future schedules, and we will once again do our best to manage our artists and manage COVID-19 hygiene.”

They ended their statement with an apology to the staff and the broadcasting stations for what has happened.
