TXT has set a new personal-best record!
As of April 29, and according to a new report by the album distributer YG PLUS, TXT’s upcoming mini-album has surpassed 1.4 million in pre-orders.
The group’s fourth mini-album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” had already surpassed 1,447,000 stock pre-orders, their best to date. They were able to surpass this milestone in 15 days and there are 10 more days remaining until the album drops, thus, the pre-order amount is expected to rise even more. Their last best record was 700,000 copies in pre-orders with “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE.”
Stock pre-orders is the number of stock albums that are produced prior to an album’s release. The number is an estimate to calculate the demand for the album, it uses various factors including how many albums were pre-ordered by fans. The album orders come from regions all over the world.
TXT will also be embarking on their first ever world tour this summer. “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” drops on May 9 at 6 p.m. KST.
