TXT Achieves Their Personal Best Record As New Album “The Chapter of Name: TEMPTATION” Exceeds 2 Million In Pre-orders

TXT has surpassed 2 million sales in pre-orders for their new album, achieving their personal best record.

According to YG PLUS, an album distributor on January 25, pre-orders for TXT’s 5th mini-album “The Chapter of Name: TEMPTATION” reached 2.16 million copies. TXT surpassed their previous pre-order sales (1.47 million) with 1.56 million copies just 15 days before their comeback and broke their own record for the highest sales in pre-orders.

This exceeded the cumulative sales of 1.8 million copies (based on the circle chart) of the previous 4th mini-album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” in 2022.

Expectations are also growing for their achievements for the new album “The Chapter of Name: TEMPTATION,” as TXT ranked third on the U.S. top-selling real album chart in 2022 in the “2022 Year-end Report” released by Luminate (formerly Nielsen Music) in the U.S. with “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child.”

“The Chapter of Name: TEMPTATION,” which will be released by TXT at 2 p.m. on January 27, features a shaken youth in the face of the “temptation” of freedom and play in front of its eyes.
