Two songs of BTS’s upcoming album “Proof” have been deemed unfit for broadcast by KBS.

Four of the songs from the album including “Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment),” “Run BTS,” “For Youth,” and “Born Singer” were submitted for deliberation. On June 8, the results were announced, and “Run BTS” and “Born Singer,” were deemed unsuitable for broadcast by KBS.

A rep from KBS says the songs were deemed unsuitable due to lyrics that use swear words, vulgar words and crude expressions. “For Youth” deliberation was deferred since the lyrics for the first 30 seconds of the song was a concert’s sound effects. The only one that was deemed fit for broadcast is “Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)” which is the title track of their upcoming album.

What does it mean when KBS bans a song?

The songs that were deemed unfit for broadcast and banned by KBS will not be able to be broadcasted on the station, and the group will also not be able to perform the songs on the station’s music programs.

“Proof” drops on June 10 at 1 p.m. KST.
