TWICE Surpasses 1 Million Album Sales For “BETWEEN 1&2,” Set To Surpass A Cumulative 15 Million Album Sales In Korea And Japan Soon

TWICE is showing off its global influence and is set to achieve a milestone in album sales.

According to their agency JYP Entertainment on October 10, TWICE achieved a million sales with their 11th mini album, and is set to surpass 15 million copies in cumulative sales between Korea and Japan.

TWICE’s mini-album “BETWEEN 1&2,” released in August this year, has exceeded 1 million cumulative sales on the Circle Chart (formerly Gaon Chart). Earlier, the album surpassed 1 million pre-orders, raising expectations for million sales with an increase of more than 300,000 copies compared to their previous album and third full-length album “Formula of Love: O+T=<3”.

In addition, TWICE has surpassed the cumulative sales of 14,687,757 albums released in Korea and Japan, shining as the “global normal girl group.”

From their debut mini-album “THE STORY BIGINS” in October 2015 to member Nayeon’s first solo mini-album “IM NAYEON” and their mini-album “BETWEEN 1&2”, the group has recorded cumulative sales of 9,807,784 albums in South Korea.

In addition, albums released locally from Japan’s debut best album “#TWICE” in June 2017 to its fourth full-length album “Celebrate” in July 2022 achieved a total of 4,879,973 sales. As a result, the group proved their presence as they go towards the record of 15 million albums in total between Korea and Japan.

TWICE successfully held TWICE JAPAN FAN MEETING 2022 “ONCE DAY” at the first gymnasium of Yoyogi Stadium in Tokyo on October 1 and 2. This is the first face-to-face fan meeting held in Japan since their official debut and it has special meaning as a place to commemorate the fifth anniversary of their debut. TWICE is meeting with local fans at the Osaka Castle Hall fan meeting in Japan from October 8 to 10.

In addition, “TWICE FANMEETING ONCE HALLOWEEN 3” will be held twice at KBS Arena in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. on November 5. The fan meeting at 7 p.m. will be broadcast live online through the Beyond LIVE platform.
