TVXQ’s Yunho won’t be participating in filming for Mnet’s “Kingdom.”

On March 24, Mnet released an official statement to reveal that SM Entertainment relayed that Yunho voluntarily intends to not participate in recordings for the show until his police investigation results are released.

As a result, Mnet stated Changmin will be hosting the show alone. And regarding the parts that were already filmed with Yunho, they will be edited with the focus being on Changmin as a host.

This comes after the huge controversy that Yunho was involved in and the subsequent backlash due to SM’s statements and media reports. He and Changmin were confirmed to MC “Kingdom” previously.

“Kingdom” is set to air its first episode on April 1 at 7:50 p.m. KST.
