EXO Xiumin has been diagnosed with COVID-19!
On August 5, SM Entertainment released an official statement to convey the news.
According to the agency, on July 29, Xiumin received a COVID-19 PCR test in order to practice for his musical and tested negative, however, when receiving an additional PCR test on August 4 due to changes in his health, the result came out positive. Xiumin was diagnosed with COVID-19 on August 5.
As a result, EXO members and his staff members have also been tested for COVID-19 and are in self-quarantine while they wait for results. Staff and cast of his musical have also been informed and will get tested.
The idol has halted all of his activities and is following the guidelines set by the health authorities in order to make a speedy recovery.
