Just in time for 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, TIME Magazine released their own list of “The Best K-Pop Groups You Should Know About.”
In the list, they discuss and introduce 6 of Kpop’s currently trending acts, BTS was the first pick of the list. TIME Magazine described them as “one of music’s biggest social media phenomena.”
The list includes EXO, describing them as the group who has ‘regularly broken records for concert and album sales.’ Also citing their neck in neck popularity competition with BTS.
The list also includes TWICE, the magazine referred to them as the next Girls Generation (one of the biggest Kpop acts ever).
The rest of the list includes EXO, Red Velvet, iKON and SEVENTEEN.
