Three Members Leave This Highly Underrated Kpop Boy Group, Group To Continue As 7-Members
Three Golden Child members are leaving Woollim Entertainment.
Woollim Entertainment (hereinafter Woollim) stated on the 27th of August, ‘We have recently renewed contracts with five Golden Child members: Lee Jang-jun, Bae Seung-min, Bong Jae-hyun, Kim Dong-hyun, and Hong Joo-chan.’ Currently, Y, who is serving in the military, and Lee Dae-yeol, who was recently discharged, have not yet reached the period for contract renewal.”
The agency said, ‘Including Lee Dae-yeol and Y, we plan to fully invest and support the future activities of the members Lee Jang-jun, Bae Seung-min, Bong Jae-hyun, Kim Dong-hyun, and Hong Joo-chan, based on the strong trust built over the years.’
However, TAG, Kim Ji-beom, and Choi Bo-min are leaving Woollim as of today without renewing their contracts. Woollim added, ‘We sincerely thank TAG, Kim Ji-beom and Choi Bo-min for the time we’ve spent together and wish them the best in their future endeavors.’
As a result of the failed contract renewals with TAG, Kim Ji-beom, and Choi Bo-min, Golden Child will be reorganized as a seven-member group and continue their activities.
