The Viral Story Of A Man Who Trespassed Onto HYBE And Stayed Inside For Three Days
A 40-year-old man was recently arrested for trespassing and staying in the HYBE headquarters for three days!
HYBE, the agency that represents BTS, SEVENTEEN, and other prominent artists, confirmed on the 12th of September that the man illegally entered the building, and they reported the incident to the police. The company is fully cooperating with authorities to ensure appropriate legal action is taken.
According to CCTV footage, the man entered the HYBE building on the 6th via the basement and spent time in various areas of the building, including the floors between the 3rd and 18th levels. He managed to stay for 2 nights and 3 days, using the cafeteria frequented by HYBE trainees and staff for food. He was eventually spotted by a HYBE staff member on the 5th floor on the 8th, who alerted the police. The man was apprehended at around 6 p.m. that day.
During the police investigation, it was revealed that the man was unemployed, and no stolen items or weapons were found in his possession. The authorities are currently investigating the motive behind his actions.
HYBE’s headquarters, located in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, houses not only HYBE but also several of its subsidiaries and labels, including Big Hit Music, Source Music, Pledis Entertainment, ADOR, Belift Lab, and KOZ Entertainment.
