Malaysia’s Ministry of Health has criticized BLACKPINK Rosé‘s song “APT” amid its global popularity, claiming it “explicitly promotes an unhealthy lifestyle.”

Recently, the ministry stated that “the term ‘APT‘ is used as a place of temptation, which contradicts the values of Eastern culture.”

The ministry also expressed concerns that “children might unconsciously sing along to such lyrics.”

Rosé’s “APT,” a collaboration with pop star Bruno Mars, is inspired by drinking games in Korea and has gained worldwide popularity for its catchy lyrics and melody.

The song has already broken so many records and shown immense popularity all around the world.
