The First Kpop Idol To Test Positive For Coronavirus Revealed, Yoon Hak Hospitalized

Supernova Yoon Hak has tested positive for COVID-19, an official from his agency confirmed to news outlets.

On April 3, it was confirmed that Yoon Hak has become the first Korean celebrity to have been infected with the coronavirus. The actor-singer is very active in Japan and he recently returned to Korea on March 24 and began to show symptoms on March 27, he was tested on March 31st and confirmed to have been infected on April 1st.

His agency told news outlets,

“It appears to be mild and he’s currently being treated.”

Yoon Hak has halted all of his activities, is currently hospitalized focusing on recovery for the time being, the government is tracing his whereabouts after he returned from Japan.

This makes Yoon Hak the first-ever confirmed case for a Korean celebrity. Previously, Chungha staff members tested positive for the virus while the singer tested negative.
