The Final Lineup Of BABYMONSTER To Be Revealed Very Soon, Will It 5 Or 7 Members? Yang Hyun Suk Gives A Hint
YG Entertainment’s new girl group BABYMONSTER is expected to debut as a five-member group.
Yang Hyun Suk announced recently through YG that BABYMONSTER had been planned as a five-member group from the early stages of planning. The final members will be announced publicly on May 12.
BABYMONSTER is a rookie girl group that YG is introducing after about seven years since K-pop’s leading girl group ‘BLACKPINK.’ There are seven trainees, including three from Korea (Ahyeon, Haram, Laura), two from Thailand (Parita, Chikita), and two from Japan (Luca, Asa). Most of them are in their teens. They are currently undergoing the final evaluation through a debut reality program.
Billboard, a U.S. music media outlet, recently selected ‘K-pop artists to watch this year,’ and they were chosen as one of the twelve teams. The number of YouTube subscribers showcasing various promotions is 1.86 million.
