Teen Top‘s former leader C.A.P has shared with his fans his true feelings after his departure from the group over his controversial live stream.

In a recent live broadcast, C.A.P expressed anger at comments from fans pointing out his swearing, drinking, and smoking. This resulted in the agency releasing an apology but assuring fans a comeback is still happening. On May 11, their agency issued a statement to announce his departure from the group. This was followed by an apology statement from the idol himself too.

After that announcement and the apology statement, C.A.P took to his SNS channel and held a live stream. During the long live stream, he revealed that what he did was intentional.

C.A.P. admitted that he had already decided to leave the group before the livestream but felt sorry for lying to everyone and pretending to consider leaving.

He also revealed that he made a rash decision to be controversial intentionally as he had tried to leave the company several times before but was unsuccessful. When asked if he’s ok, he said, “no I am not that ok, my heart is not feeling that well. Honestly, I think I already made up my mind already when I said those things. I felt a bit sorry about that.”

He added,

But honestly, when I say sorry, I’m not sorry to everyone. You understand me, right? I’m not sorry to everyone but to only to those who had expectations for me.
Honestly, I was already thinking of leaving the group; I just didn’t tell you all, I feel bad about that. I couldn’t tell you properly and lied that I said I was thinking of leaving when I had already made up my mind, I felt bad about that. My original thought was to leave the group.

He also revealed he didn’t have the courage to reach out for help as his group members were all very busy.

He said he had tried leaving the company a few times, and a lot of things happened when it was time to renew his contract. He realized that to put an end to this, he needed to cause some trouble so he could leave. He knew there would be criticism and it would affect the team, but he believed it was the right solution since once he left, there would be no target anymore. As a result, he made this extreme decision to do that live broadcast.

Despite feeling bad about the situation, he laughed off the media attention and said he would continue to make music. He also apologized to the Teen Top members for his actions and said they remain close.
