T.O.P has reiterated he left his group BIGBANG after fans noticed the stories he posted to his Instagram.
Previously, on May 30, the idol released a video of himself playing a keyboard, he captioned with, ‘still making my album.’ The post excited fans who have been waiting for the idol’s return with new music.
After that, many news outlets began writing about the idol’s potential return to music, he then began reposting articles that talked about his recent post and fans noted he even crossed out BIGBANG’s name from his name from an article that talked about his potential return to the music scene.
As a result, fans began to wonder if he had indeed left BIGBANG since it was not confirmed by YG itself when he departed last year. He then replied to fans comments on Instagram, he wrote, “I’ve already told you guys that I’m leaving and I’m now facing a new chapter in my life since last year.” And when another fan asked if he’s coming back with new music, he replied with, “solo.”
Many fans are stunned to learn of this since it was never publicly stated he’s left and many assumed he’d do some group activities even after his departure from YG.
