T-ara’s Jiyeon is getting married to Baseball Player Hwang Jae Gyun!
On February 10, T-ara’s Jiyeon took to Instagram to personally announce the happy news, she posted a handwritten letter, and a couple of photos with her fiance.
She wrote,
“Hello, this is Jiyeon.
I had a story that I wanted to tell to the fans in person, so I took the courage to write like this.
After debuting as a teenager, time has passed and I’m already in my 30s.
After debuting when I was young and afraid of everything, when I withdrew due to anxiety in my teens and even in my twenties, when I wanted to give up in difficult times, you always reached out and held me silently.Thank you for cheering me on to go through the long tunnel.
I could be who I am now because of you.
To the fans who always believed in me and supported me, I want to let you know first, not through the statements or writings of others. I have a boyfriend who I met last year with a good feeling after getting to know him through an acquaintance.”
Jiyeon then added that they’re getting married this coming winter, she called him ‘the gift of my life’ and expressed her worries that the news may come as a shock to the fans.
Jiyeon is 28 years old.
