Super Junior’s Siwon Tests Positive For COVID-19 + His Appearance At The 2021 MAMA Canceled

Super Junior’s Siwon has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

On December 10, SM Entertainment released an official statement to reveal Siwon has tested positive for the virus. The idol had taken a preemptive test to carry out his scheduled activities and his results came out positive earlier today.

As a result, Siwon will not be attending the 2021 MAMA, the idol-actor was previously confirmed as part of the presenters lineup for the ceremony. SM added that every Super Junior members and staff who came in contact with him are awaiting their test results.

Notably, SM stated that Siwon had received his second vaccine dose in September. Siwon is halting all of his activities and entering quarantine.
