Super Junior member Shindong is the latest idol to test positive for COVID-19.
Super Junior’s agency, Label SJ, released a statement concerning Shindong’s diagnosis.
The agency relayed that on March 26, Shindong underwent PCR testing and was then diagnosed with COVID-19. As a result, he will not participate in the “Super Junior Special Event 2022 – Return of the King” in Japan.
Shindong has tested positive for COVID-19 once before, having first contracted the virus in November 2021.
Super Junior is currently participating in comeback activities, having already released their single album “The Road: Winter for Spring”.
We hope Shindong gets well soon!
